Writing A Good Funding Application: Tyne & Esk Fund

We’re running a lunchtime session to offer application support to anyone applying to the Tyne & Esk Rural Communities Development Fund.

The Rural Communities Development Fund this year will focus on revenue funding. The fund opens on Friday 1 May and closes at midnight on Sunday 31 May.

About the fund

The Tyne & Esk Rural Communities Development Fund forms part of the Scottish Government’s Community Led Local Development (CLLD) Rural Programme. It involves bottom-up decision making delivered by representatives from the local area – the Local Action Group (LAG).

The overarching aim of the funding is to increase support to local rural communities, individuals and businesses advancing inclusion, equality and diversity.
Tyne & Esk area funding covers all communities in East Lothian and Midlothian including Dalkeith Country Park, except for the urban centres of Musselburgh and Dalkeith.

Meet the Funder: Tyne & Esk Communities Development Fund

Join us in-person on Wednesday 6 May, 10am-3pm, for a drop-in fund surgery to learn more about the Tyne & Esk Rural Communities Development Fund. Jayne Adamson, Project Officer for the Tyne-Esk Local Action Group will be here to answer any questions you may have about the fund.

Where: MCA Offices, 4-6 White Hart St, Dalkeith, EH221AE.
