Volunteer Recruitment Fair

Midlothian Community Action hosts an annual Volunteer Recruitment Fair at St John’s & King’s Park Church in Dalkeith.

What’s it all about?

At times when we do so much online, promoting volunteering with an in-person recruitment event is a great way to connect with people and to build relationships between organisations and potential volunteers on the spot. The fair features stalls from local organisations, free refreshments, and lots of networking opportunities.

There are many reasons why we promote volunteering; it’s a great way to meet new people, get involved, get busy, learn new skills, gain experience, improve health & wellbeing, and help the environment.

If you are thinking about volunteering but not quite sure where to begin, or if you’re an organisation looking to recruit volunteers, then this event is perfect for you!
